About Our Linen

We believe that when it comes to a child’s first years, quality and comfort are essential. We create beautiful, sustainable kids bedding and play mats. We source only the finest materials, certified to be excellent quality, organic, entirely harmless and assembled in good workplace conditions.

Our products are made from 100% French linen sourced from one of the finest flax producing regions of France. The flax plant is naturally hypoallergenic so it is suitable for those with delicate, sensitive skin. Our linen is breathable and eco-friendly. We only use low impact dyes and guarantee no harmful chemicals in any of our linen.

We have full Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification. This is a textile production certification that limits the use of toxic bleaches, dyes and other chemical inputs during the production process. GOTS certification is internationally recognized as the toughest organic textile standard because it goes beyond verifying the organic farming process to include every step of manufacturing. There are steps in place to be able to obtain the GOTS “organic” label, a product must:

Contain at least 95% organic fibre
Not be treated with bleach, formaldehyde or any other toxic substances
Be coloured with nontoxic dyes
Be produced in a mill that enforces strict social and environmental standards, treating their employees and the earth with deep respect. GOTS certification means that our products meet the very highest standards.

We also have Oeko-Tek certification which guarantees that every component of a product, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless in human ecological terms.

We are also BSCI-accredited, which means all materials have been assembled in workplace conditions in accordance with human rights, ILO conventions and national labor law.
